Blueberry Facts/Benefits

Along with being low in fat and cholesterol, blueberries are high in vitamins A & C, fiber and antioxidants.  Blueberries have potential benefits for brain & memory, preventing cancer and other diseases and all around body health.  Blueberries have also been found to be good for your skin and maintaining good eyesight.  Organically grown blueberries have been found to have a higher level of antioxidants than conventionally grown blueberries. 

 

Blueberries along with other berries have been found to have a low glycemic index and have a good impact on blood sugar regulation with type 2 diabetes.

 

Fresh picked blueberries are sweet, taste great and are wonderful in your favorite recipes for muffins, pancakes, pies, etc.  It is great for your mind and body to eat a serving of blueberries daily!
